Artists in Residence

I remembered that the real world was wide and that a varied field of hopes and fears, of sensations and excitements, awaited those who had the courage to go forth into expanse, to seek real knowledge of life amidst its perils.

We will share history

through the people and the stories of Breckenridge

For two months in the beginning of 2019, DB Project will explore, live, learn and create in the beautiful mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado.

During this residency we hope to interview and learn the histories of the people who live there and through this knowledge, tell musical stories.

  • What brought you to Breckenridge?

  • What is it about this place that moves you?

  • What is your favorite story to tell about this town?

  • How far back does your ancestry in Breckenridge go?

We will search to find the heart of the town and express it through music. We plan to collaborate with local businesses and artists to highlight what makes Breckenridge singular and unique. DB project will also engage in the community through teaching a weekly “Musical Storytelling” class for children ages 6+.

We will be posting more information in the coming weeks about the music we will program, pop up details, class times and the final event.

We hope to see you there!
