Argentine-American soprano, Agostina Migoni, has been praised for her ‘spirited and charismatic acting’ as well as ‘her distinctive musicality.’ Ms. Migoni made her company debut with The Dallas Opera as an Education Artist during the 2014-2015 season and debuted several roles with the company in this capacity through the end of the 2016-2017 season. Praised for her dynamic presence, Ms. Migoni has appeared as Musetta in La bohème , Abigail Williams in The Crucible, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, Noémie in Cendrillon, and Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore. A prolific performer, Ms. Migoni has appeared extensively throughout the United States, South America, Europe, and the Middle East. Ms. Migoni has been honored with anumber of awards including the Women’s Chorus of Dallas Voice Award, the Audience Favorite Award at the Lois Alba Competition in Houston, and first place at the Ohio Buckeye NATS.
Ms. Migoni has been very active with the Castleton Artist Training Seminar where she has appeared as Fredrika in A Little Night Music and as Maria in West Side Story. She was later asked to join the Castleton Music Festival’s international tour to the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman where she performed under the baton of the late Lorin Maazel.
Ms. Migoni received a Masters of Music in Voice Performance from the University of North Texas and a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Bethany Mamola Co-Founder & Vocalist
The Cleveland Plain Dealer praised soprano Bethany Grace Mamola with “...the most beautiful singing, whose Carolina was as disarming in characterization as it was expressive in vocal shading.” Cleveland Classical said she was “a delight to hear and see. Her casual yet precise stage demeanor and astute vocal talent made for a wonderfully clear vocal interpretation that rang throughout the hall.” Most recently, Bethany Grace was seen as Susanna in in Le nozze di Figaro, Drusilla in L’incornazione di Poppea and Zerlina in Don Giovanni with the University of North Texas Opera Theatre. During her time in Texas, she also made her concert debut with the Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra in their Broadway Concert Gala. Ms. Mamola has appeared as Bianca in Puccini’s La Rondine with Cleveland Opera Theatre and Gretel in Hansel und Gretel with Nightingale Opera Theatre. Ms. Mamola's other stage credits include Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto, La Princesse in L’enfants et les Sortileges, and the title role in Cendrillon with the Cleveland Institute of Music. At the University of the Pacific, she sang the role of Polly Peachum in The Three Penny Opera and Lady Angela in Patience. Ms. Mamola won the 2011 Stockton Opera Guild Competition and the 2011 UOP Conservatory Concerto Competition.
Ms. Mamola holds a Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Bachelors from the Pacific Conservatory of Music, and she is currently working towards a doctorate at the University of North Texas College of Music.
Claire Potter Strategic Planning and Contracts Consultant
Claire Potter is an artistic administrator and non-profit consultant based in Chicago, Illinois. After initially attending The Cleveland Institute of Music for Viola Performance, Ms. Potter focused her attention on Non-Profit Arts Administration and has subsequently worked with some of the biggest artistic institutions in North America. With degrees in Arts Management, Business Administration, and Anthropology, she brings a holistic perspective to organizations looking to grow or diversify their creative output. Ms. Potter has worked with a wide range of organizations including The Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Boston Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Sinfonietta, The Old Town School of Folk Music, and, most recently, spent two seasons with The Dallas Opera working in the Marketing and Artistic Departments. Her published work can be found in multiple formats including bios for professional musicians, synopses for The Dallas Opera, and ethnographic research on the culture of American Conservatories. Her experience working in the Artistic Departments of The Lyric Opera of Chicago and The Dallas Opera, as well as her years working as an arts marketer, gives her exceptional insight into how to market oneself to agents and tier-one opera companies, as well as to the general public. Ms. Potter is the Founder and CEO of Sheffield Artistic Consulting.
